The Shock Therapy Can-Am X3 Bump Steer Delete BSD Spacer and Joint Kits are a revolutionary product designed to enhance the performance of your Can-Am Maverick X3 RS. After extensive testing on our shop car, we discovered that X3 models experienced significant steering wheel feedback in rough terrains, especially when running larger tires and navigating through whoops. This issue was further exacerbated by the excessive bump steer found in the factory steering system.

Bump steer refers to the change in toe setting of the front tires throughout the cycle of the front suspension travel. Ideally, the toe change should be minimized to ensure optimal performance. However, the factory system exhibited over 4 inches of bump steer, causing steering wheel feedback, twitchy drivability, excessive front end wear, and fatigue on the driver's forearms.

To address these issues, we developed the BSD��� (bump steer delete���) joint kit specifically for X3 models. This innovative kit effectively eliminates bump steer by relocating the outer tie rod pivot point, thereby altering the front end geometry. With this modification, the factory 4-inch bump steer measurement is dramatically reduced to just 3/8 of an inch.
