2020 Polaris Ranger - Texas Edition

Nick from Texas Outdoors describes the latest Polaris Ranger XP 1000 2020 they built for a customer. It has a ton of cool stuff, from the bumpers all the way to the door kits, it does not disappoint.

Bumper

The Bumpers on the Polaris Ranger XP 1000 are from Texas Outdoors Ranch Armor accessories. It is the new bumper line for the Rangers. Ranch Armor sets itself apart from the competition. They are all made of steel. All of the plate cutting is done with a laser and the CNC press brakes. The complete construction of the bumpers was done in Texas.

Front Bumper

The front bumper is the Ranch Armor replacement single pull bar with KFI 4500 winch. The Bumper comes with an optional headlight guard, but the customer did not put a headlight guard on that. A winch hide-away compartment hides the winch from the open and gives the Polaris a clean, stylish look. In addition, the built-in winch area behind the front skid plate allows more air to flow through the radiator and keep the unit cooler. It also allows for easy access to your winch’s clutch freeing up cable through the hand-hole side entry.

Rear Bumper

It has a rear replacement bumper from the Ranch Armor with the Hitch. The Ranch Armor replacement rear bumper makes the vehicle stronger and looks fantastic. The bumper is quickly and securely installed on the bed chassis and attached to factory frame holes. The hitch and LED flush mounts to add even more flexibility to the rear bumper.

Tire

The tires are 31inch Maxxis Buckshot Light Duty Truck tires on this Polaris Ranger. The Maxxis Buckshot tire is an aggressive mud terrain tire that is ideal for muddy and rocky terrains. The unique tread style offers the best traction with plenty of biting angles. This kind of rugged landscape doesn't fit the staggered shoulder tread. The ejectors of stone and mud cut resistance tread and shoulders give you extra protection from cuts and damage in the harshest off-road conditions. Not to mention the aggressive sidewall styling that offers a perfect trail or path looks.

Wheel

The wheels are Maxxis Buckshot on the Polaris. The MSA M40 Rogue features a concave, split eight-spoke style with a discreet blacked-out titanium finish. It has 15 inch MSA 40 rogue wheels. The MSA wheels come equipped with all of the industry's first genuinely robust bolt-on center caps. This is great because it provides you with an additional level of versatility for your vehicle. Each center cap and accent star is removable and compatible with a wide variety of colors. You can find it in the utvsource.com accessories section.

Windshield

As far as the windshield goes, Polaris Front OEM Tip out glass windshield, and the Polaris Rear OEM Glass windshield. This windshield type offers three positions-open, closed, and vented-with excellent clarity to provide protection against any kind of weather. The glass is made of durable laminate safety glass. This safety glass protects your windshield and gives you the highest level of scratch resistance. The tip-out nature allows for partial ventilation or open-air freedom to suit your ride best.

Roof

The roof is a Ranch Armor stylish Kit 4 Extended Top with Square tube racks on this Polaris. It has a one-piece design for durability and longevity. The metal shell is a fully welded structure. The shell sits on a subframe skeleton that slots easily into the pre-slotted holes on the Polaris Ranger. The sheet metal shell components are laser-cut for a 100% precise line all around.

The sound on this Polaris has a 36 Bazooka Tube. This kind of tube, particularly with the windows closed, will blast your eardrums out after a few minutes. It's controlled with the marine touch panel center control box and the bazooka sound bar remote control.

It has a 51 LED light bar on the front, 7.5 on the sides, and also has two dome lights inside.

Door Kit

The Fortress Half Door kit is used on this Polaris upgrade. The Doors are constructed from solid steel. Rubber trim around all edges provides a rattle-free seal, and dual-latching handles assure a solid close every time.
